As I mentioned in my last post, I participated in the Traveling Heart-Shaped Rock Project hosted by Ann at
Ann Again and Again. I think I kinda broke the rules and kept the rock too long but it was only because I wanted to have it for Thanksgiving. I know, I am evil. The worst part is that I forgot to take pics of the rock on Thanksgiving!!! But I do have some adorable pics of its visit with me!! Enjoy!

The rock had a wonderful visit at our house! Well, aside from the time when I nearly soiled myself because I thought I lost it while I was on an ambulance call!!!!!! It is now off to visit Renee from
Until Something Shiny Comes Along. Check out her blog! Enjoy the THSR, Renee!!!
Tears roll down my cheeks Nicki.
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful, so wonderful. My heart aches because the journey of the THSR at your place was just so perfect. When I saw the photo of our "little gem" with your father the wind was knocked out of me.
And you thought you lost it!?! Oh my gosh. What was that like? (And better yet, what did you co-worker(s) think of that? :-> )
Your photos are beautiful. Your daughter, the sharing of good vibes and good food. What a fantastic journey. I wish it was me. (hug)
I'm so excited to get the rock!
ReplyDeleteIt looks like THSR had a lot of fun with you!
ReplyDeleteThe picture with the snail? Too cute!
Giving some good vibes out on the ambulance gurney? Love it!
Ann, we had so much fun! Well, aside from the scare when I almost posted a pic of the rock on milk cartons!!! I wasn't on the ambulance that day. I went to the home in my truck, took care of the patient at the scene and then went home because they didn't want to go to the hospital. When I got home, I checked my pocket and it was...GONE! I drove all the way back to the scene and checked the lawn, street, driveway. The neighbors must have thought I was nuts. I didn't see it so I looked in my truck and it was in the console! PHEW! I am glad you were touched by the pics. I didn't imagine that this little gem would have such an effect on me too!
ReplyDeleteRenee, I hope you have fun with the rock and I can't wait to see pics!
Tracie, thanks for the feedback! That snail was sooo little and so cute and thankfully, they can't move fast enough when scared so I was able to get a pic! =)
I just got THSR in the mail (along with the goodie - thank you!). Looking forward to Christmas-y pix and stories :D
