I went to get my tattoos today and unfortunately for my husband who does not like tattoos and is married to someone who loves to get them, IT DIDN'T HURT THIS TIME!! Maybe it was the location of the tattoo. I got them on my upper arm and kinda wrapping around the shoulder. Or maybe it was the .50mg Xanax I took before getting the tattoo! I can't be certain but whatever it was, it was unfortunate because how the hell am I supposed to ever stop this madness when it was barely even annoying this time??? There were 2 annoying spots but they didn't hurt. One was kinda approaching the armpit area on the back and the other was approaching the upper inner arm on the front. Other than that, I sat and watched, completely relaxed. Normally, I am wringing my hands together and practicing my Lamaze "Hout Hoot."
Here are some pics. I tried to get a pic of the feet AND the cherub on my back all together in one shot but since my arms are not long enough and I am the only one awake right now, I guess that won't happen. I tried several times to blindly snap a shot but I kept snapping pics of things no sane person would want to see so I guess this is all I have for now.
It still needs to heal so the redness will go away soon, the footprints will lighten up a bit and the wings will become a little more vibrant. All in all, I am sooo happy with this one!! Or is this considered 2 tattoos? Does it matter? Prolly not but when people ask me, "How many tattoos do you have?" I would really like to give an honest answer. And I should probably stop including the lady bug tattoo in my count because it is so small that people think it is a mole on my back. =)
I apologize for the blurriness of the pics. They were taken with my phone and at an odd angle! The tattoos themselves are very crisp.

| Figures, I had to get a zit in the pic!! Ignore that! |

This is a little too close but the best I could do. The black flakes are just specks of ink...I am really not that disgusting of a person!
So, other than the fact that I am already secretly plotting my next tattoo (and by secretly, I mean I am telling everyone except my husband), I'd say this visit was a total success! I do love them! |
Sweet that they didn't hurt!! Those are unique and I like that!! So glad you like them so much!!
ReplyDeleteWow, they look like they should hurt! Very nice.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Casey and Caz. I was barely even annoyed getting them done!
